For all those movie buffs, Samsung came out with a range of TV displays during SID2008. The wide range includes 52” 3D display, 82” E-board with multi-touch screen, multi-view digital information display (DID), 15-inch LCD with a “blue phase mode,” and 2.3-inch e-paper.

“This 82-inch LCD is large enough to cover all viewing angles with ultra-definition resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate that will allow viewers to watch motion pictures as if they are really in them,” said Sang Soo Kim, executive vice president of the LCD Technology Center at Samsung Electronics. “It is the optimal display for future TVs.”

The 82” LCD Panel offers a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels at 120Hz refresh rate. With 120 frames per second, the TV delivers a non-blur picture. 82” E-board with multi-touch screen is created using 60Hz LCD Panel giving you an insight into future. The DID do not require special glasses to display 3D images. Another one showcased by Samsung is 40” HDLCD TV panel operated by two source driver Ics making it fit for your pocket.

You will get to see 15” LCD with blue phase mode and 2.3” e-paper at SID2008. The range also includes multi-tasking monitors with aspect ratio 16:9 and environment friendly panels. You will get to see all of them under one roof – Booth 508 at SID 2008.
