Samsung Unveils New UD Video Wall System
It seems that we are now shifting to larger and easily customizable video viewing, in particular, video wall technology. Normally resorted only by businesses and of course the filthy rich, it looks like Samsung has lined up a new video wall system for the people who invest heavily in expensive and multiple video displays.
With the release of the Samsung Ultra-Definition Display System, a new era in video wall solutions enters. The new system is integrated with Samsung’s UX and UT Series displays with the product cost based on application.
“Our UD System effectively addresses the requirements of vital applications in government and law enforcement agencies that need to make critical decisions based on comprehensive, accurate information from multiple sources.” - Mr. J.H. Kim, President, Information Technology Division, Samsung Electronics America Inc.

I understand that this video wall system has thinner bezels so that the image doesn’t appear to have so many lines through it. It’s hard to tell from the images shown, but it seems to me that rear projection systems still have this beat for the thinnest border around each screen.
I bet the resolution is amazing, though. I can’t wait to see it in person.
