We just covered the HW-C450 from Samsung, and they are planning another move into the super-wide LCD panel market.

These LCD panels are 43 inch wide, and are designed to be Digital Information Displays (DIDs) for a panoramic 4:1 display at HD ready resolution. It is designed to be modified to be split into a few screens.

The plan is to put these at public transport stations, airports, and malls for informational purposes only, but it could easily be used as a screen for a home theater, right? And you should keep the cool informational display for it.
