Samsung’s Series 7 Plasma HDTVs

Samsung Electronics, world’s leading maker of HDTVs, has recently launched its new Series 7 Plasma HDTV. Featuring Samsung’s ToC (Touch of Color) designed bezel, this new series delivers a superior full HD 1080p picture with up to a 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.

“With the Series 7 plasma HDTV, Samsung looks to elevate consumers’ home theaters with a premier design and an encompassing viewing experience,” said Steve Panosian director of Visual Display Marketing at Samsung Electronics America. “By combining superior connectivity and networking options with the latest audio-visual technologies, the Series 7 Plasma is certain to further refine most any home theater setup.”

Samsung’s new Series 7 Plasma HDTVs is supported by Samsung’s Ultra FilterBright technology. Apart from this technology, this new series incorporates ay/ Night Calibration modes. This series is compatible with DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) for easy connection with other DLNA-Certified products. Series 7 features WiseLink Pro and built-in NTSC/ ATSC and clear QAM tuners.

The new Samsung Series 7 Plasma HDTV will be soon available in August 2008 in three different sizes, 50-inch, 58-inch and 6-inch at a retail price of $ 2799.99, $ 4499 and $ 5499 respectively.
