Sanyo Bows Two New Projectors Of Intense Power

I caught a press release about a couple new projectors from Sanyo that’ll actually prove pretty surprising.  The projectors in question are called the PLC-XM150/150L and the PLC-XM100/100L, and they’re projecting at incredible levels.

The PLC-XM100/100L puts out at an incredible five thousand lumens, and is considered a high brightness projector.  But the PLC-XM150/150L is actually rated as the current highest brightness projector in its class, with an output of a positively stunning six thousand lumens.  Six thousand lumens is enough projector for an auditorium or similarly sized venue.

How’d they get that brightness level?  It’s actually kind of simple–they used an inorganic liquid crystal panel with their newly developed optical engine and added on a fresh kind of cooling technology to give the projectors the ability to throw light at incredible levels.

It’s plain to see, and in the light of six thousand lumens that’s both figurative AND literal, that these new Sanyos are going to be pretty close to top of the line for that level of projection.
