Sharp announces PG-F255W

Was the $2,000 price tag of Epson’s EH-TW3000 too much for you to fathom? Well, if you’re willing to sacrifice some quality for a cheaper price, then you should be on the lookout for Sharp’s recently announced PG-F255W.

2500 ANSI lumens, 2,200:1 contrast ratio, and WXGA resolution of 1280 x 720 with a 16:10 aspect ratio are all things the PG-F255W sports. While marketed towards business users, the projectors 1280 x 720 resolution coupled with integrated BrilliantColor Technology makes it a sure fire candidate for a home theater.

Clocking in at just 6.4lbs, the PG-F255W will be avaliable from Sharp authorized dealers for a MSRP of $999. Not exactly a high-end projector, but neither is the price.
