Sharp AQUOS BD-HP52U Blu-ray Player

Sharp-AQUOS-BD-HP52U-Blu-ray-Player At CEDIA 2009, Sharp announced its latest Blu-ray Disc player, the AQUOS BD-HP52U, which supports BD-ROM Profile 2.0 for BD Live content through an Ethernet jack-enabled Internet connection, streaming media, Deep Color, x.v. color and HDMI 1.3 connectivity.

The audio formats supported by the AQUOS BD-HP52U include Dolby Surround TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio and Dolby Digital Plus. Plus, it supports BD-ROM/RE/R, DVD Video, DVD-RW / R, DVD + RW / R, Audio CD, MP3 and JPEG images.

The AQUOS BD-HP52U can upscale DVD standard definition signals and supports playback of AVCHD video. It can play Blu-ray at 1920×1080 Full HD at 24fps and comes equipped with HQ Audio Circuits with an upgraded power supply. The player provides better sound and picture quality and delivers dynamic 7.1 Channel audio and true to life video.

For external monitoring system, an RS-232 connector is available. Sharp is all set to release the AQUOS BD-HP52U in October priced at $379.99.
