Sharp AQUOS LC-52XS1U-S and LC-65XS1U-S LCD HDTVs

Sharp introduced the XS1 series AQUOS LCD HDTV’s at the IFA this year. The two distinguished models also marked their presence at the CEDIA EXPO. The latest offerings 52” LC-52XS1U-S and 65” LC-65XS1U-S grabbed eyeballs for their catchy looks and elegant design. Both the models boast of 1-inch thickness and Sharp’s 10-bit Advanced Super View LCD panel. Besides featuring the RGB-LED backlight system, 1080p resolution, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 100Hz motion rate, they also equip Sharp’s 1-Bit digital amplifier. The entire 1-inch set comes packed with a separate AVC system set-top-box for handling inputs, however one misses the company of WHDI there. The space-saver models are expected to be released in October.
