Sharp recently announced its BD-AV1-W Recorder of Ver. 2.1 in Japan market. This AQUOS Series Recorder will hit the stores from Oct 27, 2007. The BD-AV1-W is a white colored model designed to deliver playback of digital broadcasts of HDTV programs at a high-resolution. The Recorder features simple operation with three easy-to-use one-button functions. With the Disc Meter one can take a view of the free space remaining on the BD-RE disc.
