Sharp has strengthened its line of high-fidelity audio systems by introducing the new 3.1-channel SoundBar speaker system, the HT-SB500. The speaker supports touch panel technology for flexibility and convenience. It is an easy to setup home entertainment system that offers advanced audio performance without any additional components and expenses.

To complement the latest design of LDC TVs, the HT-SB500 consist a center channel, left and right speakers, subwoofer and a low-profile unit. This 32-watt speaker system features digital audio decoding, 5.1 channel surround sound, SRS TruSurround HD, dual audio inputs, right and left RCA jacks and a 3.5mm sub mini jack. The slim remote control of the system can simultaneously control a Sharp AQUOS LCD TV as well.

The new HT-SB500 speaker system will be available in December for manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $349.99.
