Sharp LC52D85U Television Review–A Great ProductBy Steve Anderson - 01/19/2010 12:58:52 AM |
The Sharp line of products continues to treat me well with the recent emergence of the Sharp LC52D85U, a television that will do a surprisingly able job. Sure, you don’t think about Sharp too often–about the only brand name they have that’s any good at all is the Aquos, but this one is a solid model.
The Sharp LC 52D85U is a fifty two inch 1080p LCD television with two twenty watt speakers, five HDMI inputs, two component video inputs, one S-Video input, one PC input, two composite inputs and one serial input.
The Sharp LC52D85U’s picture is, like its namesake, sharp and clear, as is the sound quality. The controls are conveniently side mounted and set up in easy to use toggle style. All things considered, this is a high quality television, and the best part is you won’t have to shell out a lot of cash for it either–they start at right around fifteen hundred bucks. You can do better, but if you were to get this one, you likely won’t be disappointed.
