SHARP Unveils New Robust Information Displays Sharp has recently announced four new silent, robust information displays that include 60" (PN-E601), 52" (PN-E521), 47" (PN-E471) and 42" (PN-E421). The 60 and 52 inches models offers superior displays as they come integrated with an advanced LCD technology, the so-called Ultraviolet induced multi-domain Vertical Alignment. The UV2A was developed by the company to achieve high resolution images with low power consumption.

All the four Sharp displays are fanless. Thus, they are not noisy and assure 24 hours operation. The 47 inch display has 1000:1 contrast ratio and max.700cd/m2 of brightness, while the 60 inch and 52 inch displays come with 5000:1 contrast ratio and max. 500cd/m2 brightness and lastly the 42 inch display features 3000:1 contrast ratio and 700cd/m2.

The 60 inch display is scheduled to be available by December 22, whereas, the sale of rest of the displays will start from December 25 this year. No price information has been revealed by the company so far.
