Sharp’s 108-inch LCD TV priced $185,000

Sharp publicized the price of its 108” LCD TV as $185,000. Shipment of TV will start in US in September, 2008 onwards. While all the other high end TVs from other companies are priced less, this LB-1085 108” LCD TV is priced little on the higher side.

The retailers in Europe have started selling LB-1085 for 120,000 Euro which is about $185,000, looking at the current exchange rate. Offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080p, the contrast ratio of 1200:1, response time of 6ms and 400cd of brightness, the TV is one of its kind in the industry.

The TV weighing 430 pounds will be a prized possession for you and you have to wait for 16 weeks before the actual delivery happens at your doorstep.
