Sharp’s BD-HP22H to hit UK shelves this monthBy Jeff Baker - 06/11/2009 11:09:14 PM |

If you live in the UK you have yet another option when you go to pick up a Blu-ray player and this one is actually affordable for once.
What you see above is Sharp’s BD-HP22H Blu-ray player which is capable of full 1080p output, 7.1 surround sound with both DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD support. Additionally it will support BD-Live, a piano black finish, support for Sharp’s AQUOS LINK service and the ability to use just 0.7 Watts of power while in standby mode.
But just how affordable will Sharp’s BD-HP22H be? Well, it currently holds a retail price of £199.99 when it hits later this month so if you do a bit of shopping around you’ll probably be able to find it for cheaper.
