Sony’s Playstation 3, among other players, has largely been regarded as one of the cheapest Blu-ray players on the market but thanks to Sherwood America, that all is about to change.
Entering in the price range of the Samsung BD-P1500 and the Sony BDP-S350, Sherwood America’s BDP-5003 will be priced at a modest $299.99 and will sport all the expected specs of a low priced player. These specs include the following:
- Bonus View Profile 1.1
- Dolby TrueHD and DTS lossless audio
- HDMI v1.3
- 1080/24p playback
