Display technologies seem to be gearing for a new shift that is pointed towards 3D technology. Apparently we had some feelers sent our way, all starting at the Super Bowl commercials which made use of 3D visuals. And to ready themselves for the transition towards 3D technology, Digital Projection International (DPI) has announced that 14 of its products will include active 3D capable displays.

The iVision sx+3D comes with standard zoom and single-chip projection, with SXGA+ native resolution and Brilliant Color imaging. The Titan three-chip DLP models come in either SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) or 1080p native resolution, with dual or single lamp configurations, and also high-brightness or ultra-contrast configurations.

DPI says the lineup covers home entertainment to scientific to commercial and military applications.
