If you live in the UK you might be lucky enough to get 3D TV by the end of the year. Sky has been testing 3D broadcasting capabilities and it’s getting ready to present the 2012 London Olympics like never before.

Sky’s Chief Engineer Chris Johns says that Sky has the “capability for homes to see 3D by year-end.” That’s a bold statement especially as it wasn’t backed up by any solid proof. Johns failed to provide exact dates and we don’t know what type of 3D systems will be needed for it. We’ll be just around the corner, waiting for specific details.
