Sony and Apollo Cinemas Deploy 83 CineAlta 4k Digital Projectors
Sony Digital Cinema and Apollo Cinemas have entered into an agreement which calls for the installation of 83 CineAlta 4K Digital projectors which are capable of rendering 3D content. This deal makes Apollo Cinemas one of the most advanced cinema operators known today. With the CineAlta 4K digital system, viewers can expect outstanding image and sound quality that places the cinema industry at another level.
Oliver Pasch, head of Sony’s digital cinema business in Europe commented, ‘This really is an exciting agreement that clearly demonstrates Sony Digital Cinema’s commitment to the long-term success of the cinema industry, heralding a new era for digital cinema.
