Sony has just announced its latest BDV-IS1000 blu-ray player, which has unique and outstanding HD video act, HDMI inputs and high-end audio codecs for better results. It supports the S-Air wireless technology that delivers full HD 1080pixels video and allows users to have a great experience.

The Sony BDV-IS1000 blu ray player is a home theater in-a-box system, which features five small speakers to provide superb and great sound. It supports an Ethernet connection and lets users to connect to internet to access BD-Live features and straightforward firmware updates.

"Personifying performance and style, these systems deliver a true home theater experience in a beautiful package," said Tyler Ishida, director of marketing for Sony Electronics’ Digital Imaging and Audio Division. "The product design is as much of a statement as the incredible home theater audio and video quality that only Blu-ray Disc can deliver."

Additionally, the IS1000 Blu-ray player has plenty of attractive and useful features including Sony’s xross media bar™ (XMB(TM)) for easy navigation, digital cinema Auto calibration, BRAVIA Sync and a lot more. Users can also enjoy of playing games with the help of its PlayStation 3 (R) gaming system.

The Sony BDV-IS1000 Blu Ray Player will be available in October at Sony Style Stores, at an estimated price of $1,000.
