Sony DVD Direct VRD mc-10

Sony recently hogged the spotlight for its new DVD Direct VRD mc-10. The latest peripheral allows the playback of hi-vision images. In addition to the 12cm DVD disk high-speed dubbing, it also offers the unique handy-cam dubbing. Apart from bearing 2.7type liquid crystal, it also supports the playback of DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW and DVD-RW and DVD+R DL. No word on price. But it will first hit Japan stores
