Sony DVP-FX950 Portable DVD Player with LED Backlight

Sony has unveiled a new portable DVD player with the release of the Sony DVP-FX950. This new Sony portable DVD player features a 9” LCD screen backed with LED backlight technology and a battery that is good for up to 7.5 hours of use.

Other features of the Sony DVP-FX950 include an 800×480 resolution and a 180 degree viewing angle. It also provides support via USB, measures 227×170.8×34.4mm and weighs 0.88kg. The Sony DVP-FX950 Portable DVD player will start selling in Japan for $390. No word of an international release yet.
