SONY LMD-940W 9-inch Widescreen Professional LCD Display
Recently, Sony expanded its family of LUMA professional LCD displays with the new model LMD-940W. This 9-inch LCD display delivers a WVGA 800 x 400 resolution. Considered ideal for rack-mount, desktop, portable applications and OB vans, this new LCD comes packed with all the latest features.
Sony’s LMD-940W Widescreen Professional LCD Display comes with a detachable screen protection panel, screw holes for camera pedestal on the bottom, camera focus support function and native scanning function. It also features an SD input/output that can be toggled between HD-SDI and SD-SDI.
The new Sony LMD-940W LCD Display has a 10-bit video processing and is compatible with both SD and HD video formats up to 1080/60p and 50p with 4:2:2 YCBCR 10-bit capability. Incorporating ChromaTRU processing, it provides color space conversion and white balance adjustment. It is expected to be available in the market by May 2009 at an undisclosed price.
