Sony STRDH800 Receiver Review–Terrific ValueBy Steve Anderson - 01/06/2010 12:05:22 AM |
Sony’s line of home theater products doesn’t just stop at televisions. There are plenty of other products that Sony deals in, and not surprisingly, their usual high quality extends to the rest of the line, including the Sony STRDH800, which we’ll be talking about today.
The Sony STRDH800 is a seven channel receiver with enhanced color range, Deep Color technology, Blu-ray audio decoding, four HDMI inputs, three component inputs, wireless multi-room audio with the S-Air system, Dolby TrueHD, and auto speaker setup.
Now, this sounds like a lot of receiver, doesn’t it? Sure it does. With all those inputs and additional features, it packs a lot of value. And the value only gets better when I tell you that Sony only wants about four hundred bucks retail for this little chunk of joy.
And you can get a better price on Amazon, with a little better than a hundred bucks taken off the retail price. Between the incredible value and the great utility in this package, the Sony STRDH800 offers a package definitely worth buying, if you’re out for a new receiver.
