Sony to Close Japanese TV Plant?By DaX - 01/22/2009 6:20:14 PM |
Guess what Sony did this year? Well it’s the first loss in 14 years and it’s a really big one. Sony announced it lost $3 billion last year so the company is looking to do some restructuring to cut their loses. The company plans to close one of its two TV plants in Japan and fire 2,000 people. So who’s going to make all those new big TVs Sony? Other companies?
On the other hand loosing $3 billion in a year is a hard pill to swallow. Anyone should be doing a little restructuring with that kind of a loss.
