Sony’s latest launch VPL-VW200 Home Theater Projector gives a new dimension to the technology employed in 2004 model ultra-premium QUALIA® 004 SXRD® front home theater projector. The VPL-VW200 is a full high-definition 1080p BRAVIA® projector designed to deliver an ultimate cinema-like performance for the home theater.

Advanced technologies employed in the Projector produces a low fan noise of 22dB and color enhancement delivers sharp, vibrant images. Sony VPL-VW200 features 1.8x powered lens zoom with adjustable lens shift and blanking, 1920 x 1080 progressive Silicon X-tal Reflective Display (SXRD) with wire grid polarizers boasting of 24p True Cinema technology, 35,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, Sony’s Advanced Iris technology and improved brightness.

Sony’s VPL-VW200 is paired with high-definition components like Sony’s BDP-S2000ES Blu-ray Disc™ player delivers film-like images in their native aspect ratio of 2.35:1. The Projector can also be connected with a PC through the Internet with an equipped Ethernet input. The latest VPL-VW200 projector will ship from October for about $15,000.
