Sweet Home Theater Setups – The Power of DIY

DIY, ladies and gentlemen, that is the word of the day.  Well, so it’s more like the phrase that pays rather than the word of the day, because DIY stands for Do It Yourself, and that’s the entire impetus behind today’s sweet home theater setup.

The fella who owns this theater has an absolutely incredible wife, folks, because she put together this home theater all by her onesies.  She got a lot of inspiration from HGTV’s Candace Olson, and it shows.  That snack bar you see in there?  That’s made out of two IKEA cabinets.  The room is controlled entirely by one remote, a Logitech Harmony, that they claim is “idiot proof”.  Even the lights are remote controlled!

The video will show you that even daylight is no match for this home theater, but man, does it ever look good at night.  Plus, there’s a complete equipment list that includes a Panasonic projector, Denon receiver, Aperion 7.1 cherry speakers,  and a Stewart Firehawk one hundred inch screen.

It’s a truly sweet home theater setup, and it just goes to show what you can do when you’re sufficiently motivated and feeling the do it yourself spirit.
