Sweet Home Theatre Setups–Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson
I’m stunned–STUNNED, I tell you!–by Curtis “Fifty Cent” Jackson’s home theatre setup. Really I am. It’s downright unbelievable, and almost unnecessarily so. After recovering from the initial shock of a home theatre setup that seemed to seat four people, but had access to over three THOUSAND movies from its touchpad, I was just boggled to discover that his bedroom had an even larger setup requiring TWO big-screen HDTV setups. It’s mind-boggling.
And frankly, I wish I knew how he was doing it. I don’t know of any three thousand DVD carousel systems on the market–the largest I know of is a four hundred disc carousel player–so it may well be that Fifty’s engaging in a little slightly illegal DVD storage protocol on a home theatre PC or the like with a LOT of storage.
Three thousand DVDs would take roughly TWELVE TERABYTES worth of storage space, which is downright amazing. Unless he’s got some guy in a library loading them manually! If anyone’s got any idea how he’s pulling off three thousand movies from one touchpad, folks, I’d love to hear it–hit the comments section and fill me in!
Anyway, here’s the interesting part. This used to be Mike Tyson’s house, and Fifty put it on the market back in 2007. It may well still be available, so if you’ve got eighteen million dollars to spare, go ahead and make a bid on it! It’s a sweet home theatre setup, no matter how you look at it.
