Panasonic unveils its latest LCD home theater projector in the market with the Panasonic PT-AE4000U. This new LCD home theater projector deliver 1080p images with a 1,600 lumen brightness and 100,000:1 contrast ratio. For resolution, it boasts of a 1920×1080 pixel native resolution which also highlights an eco-friendly feature with its equipped intelligent power management system.

The Panasonic PT-AE4000U LCD home theater projector will be made available this month with a retail price of $2,499.00.

SIM2 Bets on Grand Cinema MICO 50 Projector for LED Projection

Another projector that drew some raves over at the CEDIA 2009 was the Grand Cinema MICO 50. This is SIM2’s bet for the LED projection category which will retail for about $24,995 and will be available by the fourth quarter of 2009. This projector offers brighter and crisp pictures via its trio of high power Platlight LEDS from Luminus. It boasts of an impressive 1920×1080 resolution and a Full-On/Full-Off Contrast of up to 100,000:1.

Konka LC47DT68DC LCD TV

Little-known LCD TV manufacturer Konka has an LCD TV of its own with the Konka LC47DT68DC, an ultra-thin body designed LCD TV that should fit in perfectly in any modern home theater setup or home. It comes with a dual-colored traceless injection display to complement its red and black curved design for that idealistic LCD TV look.

As most LCD TVs in the market, it boasts of a 1080P HD IPS ultra-thin screen and comes equipped with a 1G-speed chip that makes it possible to achieve its 1920×1080 HD resolution without compromising its imaging.

At the same time, the i-sport68 has adopted energy-saving technologies used in intelligent control that can automatically detect the various parts of each image brightness level, and based on the varying brightness of the images themselves, utilize an intelligent adjustment storage capacitor on signal electrodes.

EPSON EH-TW550 and EH-TW440 3LCD Projectors

Epson is making sure that this coming holiday season, they are ready with new projectors to offer in the market. With December expected to be the month where people have the proper funds to purchase luxury electronic equipment as projectors, two new 3LCD projectors from Epson in the EH-TW550 and the EHTW440 are set to be released this November.

The Epson EH-TW550 3LCD projector or the Pro Cinema 9500 UB, offers a 200000:1 contrast ratio while the Epson EH-TW440 or the Home Cinema 8500 UB carries a 130000:1. They both feature full HD (1920×1080) resolution, a 1600 ANSI lumens brightness and a quiet 22dB operation.

Additional specs include 12bit video processing, improved frame interpolation and 4-4 pull-down, x.v. color mode, 2.1x optical zoom with horizontal/vertical lens shift, and a range of inputs including 2x HDMI, YUV, and RGB.

The Epson EH-TW440 will retail for about 2,799 EUROS while the Epson EH-TW550 will be at 3,299 EUROS.

CinemaView Unveils 24” and 47” Data and TV Displays for Macs

CinemaView unveils a couple of LCD display solutions suited for the PC and home theater users. But this time, they are catering to Apple, a company that they believe will still come out on top as far as consumer video entertainment is concerned.

The two new solutions from Cinemaview are a 24” and 47” HD LCD display armed with Mini Display Ports as well as a full featured headless TV system with full HD TV features.

The two new CinemaView displays have the 16:9 cinematic aspect ratio and 1920×1080 resolution that is well suited for viewing either movies, HD TV, or data. These displays makes a terrific companion to a Mac, connecting by Mini DisplayPort, and routing USB 2.0 through the same cable from the Mac to the display’s four port USB 2.0 hub.

Samsung Unveils New Line of Color LCD Monitors

Samsung Electronics has unveiled a fleet of new color LCD monitors today, the 70 series which include the models P2070, P2370 and P2370HD. These slim LCD monitors, with screen depths of 30 mm (1.18 inches) for the P2070 and P2370 and 65.5mm (2.58 inches) for the P2370HD and Touch of Color (ToC) design, are the latest release of Samsung’s high performance displays.

The P2370 offers full HD 1080p resolution (1920×1080) for optimized viewing of HD content. For full HDTV capability, the P2370HD builds on the 1080p capabilities of the P2370 with the addition of a HDTV tuner, integrated speakers with SRS TruSurround HD(r) and remote control. In addition, the P2370HD also has HDMI and component inputs for additional connections such as Blu-Ray, set-top boxes and game consoles providing users with a display that is ready for work and play.
