BeoVision 7 55” LCD Screens Now Available

Bang & Olufsen has added another large screen to its BeoVision 7 series with the Beovision 7 55” LCD screens. It features superior signal processing and includes a double frame rate technology with motion compensation and progressive scanning backlight. These new enhancements reduce the issues of blurriness especially for fast motion videos on screen. With BeoVision 7-55 the picture is clear and sharp even during fast-moving scenes. It is also paired off with Active Loudspeaker Technology which should provide the best quality audio without distortions even at high volume levels.

The BeoVision 7 55” will be available at all Bang & Olufsen retailers by mid November. It will retails for about $18,700 which includes a floor stand and a center speaker.

Bang & Olufsen Launch Flute-Like BeoTime Alarm Clock and Remote

We’ve gotten used to see Bang & Olufsen outstanding designs meant to improve your whole multimedia experience and today we have one more gadget for you. It’s not a surround system or a HDTV but it’s an alarm clock that also doubles as a remote during the day.

The BeoTime can serve as an alarm clock but it also can be used to control various Bang & Olufsen gadgets. It looks like a flute since its creator, Steffen Schmelling, was inspired by Mozart’s The Magic Flute when he made it. Those cubes will turn into tiny displays and you should have no problem controlling some of your favorite devices with it. The BeoTime remote will be available sometime in August for just $375 which is much cheaper than we would have expected it. Not that paying $375 for an alarm clock I will grow to hate is something that I’d do, but compared to other B&O prices we’ve seen, the BeoTime is definitely more affordable.

BeoVision 4 103-inch Plasma Television Makes Its Way to the U.S.

The BeoVision 4 103-inch Plasma Television was originally heard of last month via another post on this site but today, it has been officially unveiled in the United States. BeoVision 4 103-inch presents one of the biggest televisions on the market as well as the only one of its stature to come with a stand that can lift the screen and turn and tilt it to the optimal viewing position at the touch of a button.

The BeoVision 4 103-inch will travel on an U.S. tour for three exclusive press and customer events in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. The events will present the sole opportunities to experience the product in person, as it will not be on display in showrooms (each one is built to order).

The New York and Los Angeles events will be hosted at The Audi Forum on May 6th and Aston Martin Beverly Hills on May 20th respectively, and will feature Sofia Coppola Champagne as the official champagne sponsor. The Chicago event will be held at the Bang & Olufsen America corporate office on June 16th.

Beospray from Bang & Olufsen Turn Your TV in Gold

What is Beospray you wonder? Well it’s special little spraying solution which you can apply on any anodized aluminum surface and turn it into gold. It’s not gold, but it looks like gold to the naked eye. Who else could have thought it up if not Bang & Olufsen since they have so many fancy ideas for gadgets. The price will obviously will be as high as you can imagine despite the fact it’s not gold we’re talking about here. This is why I’m pretty sure Bang & Olufsen will stick to their regular clients for this product, you know, the ones not even remotely affected by the financial crisis.

Here’s what Bang & Olufsen President and CEO Karl Kristian Hvidt Nielsen had to say:

We are equally pleased with the new color. The golden colored products will most definitely add an additional element of style and sophistication to even the most luxurious surroundings.
