Sony has introduced a new home theater system, the DAV-DZ290, equipped with a USB Movie playback feature that allows users to view MP3, JPEG, and DivX content directly from a USB drive.

The system provides a high definition 1080p resolution through its HDMI connection. The HDMI input claims to simplify the connection to the LCD TV whereas the DTH connection is said to provide enhanced audio quality and surround sound.
