MediaTek MT8530 Unveils First Blu-Ray Chip

MediaTek has unveiled the MediaTek MT8530, the first DivX Plus certified chip for powering Blu-ray players. With the MT8530, Blu-ray players can now play DivX Plus HD videos based on H.264 technology and MKV.
