InFocus Unveils IN3900 Series Projectors

InFocus continues its development of projectors for private and business use. The latest InFocus projector series are made for conference rooms and classrooms. The InFocus IN3900 series should be a useful projector which allows users to annotate, append and highlight projected content wirelessly through an optional LifeBoard Wand which is certainly something that can make gatherings and meetings informative and precise. And as most projectors in the market, the new IN3900 series don’t need a PC. A USB will do for this projector that boasts of 3,000 lumens and WXGA native resolutions.

There are two models under the InFocus IN3900 series. They are the IN3902 (XGA, 1024×768) and the IN3904 (WXGA, 12800×800). Both are currently available.

NEC ValueStar W All-in-One Computer Revealed

NEC has joined the likes of Dell, HP and Sony in delivering the latest all-in-one desktop PCs powered by NextWindow optical touch screens. NEC has launched the ValueStar W AIO computer which features a 21.5” touch screen is only available in Japan. The launch of the NEC ValueStar W follows the release of previous models from leading companies like the TouchSmart 300 and 600 from HP and the Dell Studio One 19 AIO.

Critics believe that the AIOs with screens larger than 16” will increase in shipment by 2010, which should not really be surprising. AIOs seem to be the new flavor in the techies mind and it seems that this is where most computer monitor makers are focusing right now.

LG Flatron W30 Series Notebook Monitors

LG Electronics introduces a couple of new notebook monitors for its latest W30 Series with the LG W1930S and W2230S models. They come in different colors such as apple mint, jelly pink and Oreo colors. They can be used as traditional desktop monitors as well and features a widescreen display with a contrast ratio of 30,000:1. The screen size are 18.5” for the W1930S and 21.5 for the W2230S monitors. They will be introduced into the South Korean market initially. No word on pricing and international availability.

Panasonic DMR-XP300 and XE100 DVD and HDD Recorders

Panasonic has released a couple of DVD and HDD recorders carrying practically similar specs. The two new models are the Panasonic DMR-XP200 and XE100. The XE100 feature a 320GB HDD and digital TV tuner while the XP200 boasts of a 500GB HDD, an analog and digital TV tuner along with a BS/110 CD digital tuner. The XP200 can also record 1 Seg TV programs and save recorded videos on a SD card.

Pricing and availability have yet to be announced.

NEC Reveals Five New Projectors for NP Portable Series

NEC announced five new projector models for their NP Portable Series which come equipped with new eco-friendly features for business and education users. The five new portable projector models released by NEC are: NP310, NP410, NP410W, NP510 and NP510W.

Each projector carries lamps that have up to 5000 hours of lamp life. They also carry new filters for less maintenance needs and a carbon savings meter to calculate positive effects of operating these projectors in ECO Mode.

Sony Unveils New Blu-Ray Recorder and HDD Combos

It looks like the year of combos thus far. After seeing some TVs with built-in Blu-ray camcorders, Sony Japan now unveils five new Blu-ray recorders with built-in HDDs for the Japan market. Among the models released include the following:

  • BDZ-EX200 (2TB HDD/$2,800)
  • BDZ-RX100 (1TB HDD/$1,800)
  • BDZ-RX50 (500GB HDD/$1,500)
  • BDZ-RX30 (320GB HDD/$1,200)
  • BDZ-RS10 (320GB HDD/$1,000)

Among the highlights of certain models include the SkyPerfecTV support for the three recorders that have over 320GB capacity. The model equipped with a 2TB HDD can store 253 of HD TV media and also feature support for the Sony Walkman and the PSP.

All models will be available starting September except for the EX200 which will be released on November. No word on international availability for now.

Hitachi Unveils Five New Full HDTVs with 500GB HDD

Hitachi unveils its own version of a full HDTV with built-in Blu-ray recorders and HDD as it unveils five new models, following the footsteps of Mitsubishi which had also unveiled the same TVs with similar features just recently.

For their part, Hitachi unveils two LCDs and three Plasma TV sets all of which carry the same built-in Blu-ray video recorder and a 500GB HDD to go. The two LCD TVs will come out (pricing indicated) in 37” ($2,500) and 42” ($3,000).

As for the three Plasma TVs which boast of a 40,000:1 contrast ratio, they will be available in 42” ($3,000), 46” ($3,500) and 50” ($4000).

Hitachi will ship the Plasma TVs to Japan stores beginning September 10 while the LCD TVs will follow by October. No word on when they will be available internationally.

TG Sambo Unveils New Full HD Monitors

TG Sambo has unveiled new monitors that boast of full 1080p panels that should make the standard 4:3 displays look like passé displays. The new models unveiled are the following:

  • 24-inch TGL 2400A
  • 23-inch 2300A
  • 21.6-inch 2250A

A startling feature is that all of them have a digital TV tuner and a 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. They also come with menu presets for Internet, movie and gaming options. There is no word on how much these new TG Sambo monitors cost but expect that to be revealed in the next couple of weeks.

JVC Reveals New Black Series Foldable Headphones

MSI Unveils Multi-Touch WindTop All-in-One PCs

MSI Korea has lifted the covers on a couple of new multi-touch enabled all-in-one PCs in the WindTop Series. Four models are under this new line which include:

  • 20-inch ‘AE2010′
  • 21.5-inch ‘AE2200′
  • AE2220
  • AE2400

The AE2010 comes equipped with an AMD Athlon(1.6GHz) processor while the AE2200 is boasts of an Intel Dual Core E5400(2.7GHz) CPU. The other two (AE2220 and AE2400), are based on an ION platform adopts 16:9 display which should be neat to experience better HD videos and 3D games.

No word though on the actual pricing and if they would be made available in other countries.

Optoma Releases Three New Projectors in Korea

Optoma continues to unveil projectors for home theater and business needs with three new models in the Korean market. The three new models are the following:
