InFocus Unveils IN3900 Series Projectors

InFocus continues its development of projectors for private and business use. The latest InFocus projector series are made for conference rooms and classrooms. The InFocus IN3900 series should be a useful projector which allows users to annotate, append and highlight projected content wirelessly through an optional LifeBoard Wand which is certainly something that can make gatherings and meetings informative and precise. And as most projectors in the market, the new IN3900 series don’t need a PC. A USB will do for this projector that boasts of 3,000 lumens and WXGA native resolutions.

There are two models under the InFocus IN3900 series. They are the IN3902 (XGA, 1024×768) and the IN3904 (WXGA, 12800×800). Both are currently available.

Sony Altus Wireless Speakers at Best Buy

Sony has unveiled a new line of streaming audio products called the Altus and they are going to be unveiled by Best Buy first, thanks to a joint venture between the two companies. The new Sony audio products are:

  • Sony SA31iR ($700)
  • Sony ALT-SA32PC ($500)
  • Sony ALT-SA33PC ($200)
  • Sony ALT-SA34R ($350)

Most of these new audio line boast of various interfaces which are ideal for most devices and PCs. Like the Sony SA31iR, it has an iPhone/iPod Dock and two wireless speakers. The Sony ALT-SA32PC and ALT SA33PC require USB dongles and can transmit audio wirelessly from a PC.

TwonkyMedia Server to Power Yamaha’s MusicCAST2 Home Audio Product Line

Yamaha formally enters the streaming music industry with the announcement of their selection of the TwonkyMedia Server to power their MusciCAST2 home audio products. A server license of TwonkyMedia will be bundled with the MCX-RC100 Network Music Commander device, enabling users to download the software directly from the Yamaha Web site.

Once the software is installed, the MCX-RC100 can be used as the ultimate remote control of digital audio assets, enabling users to stream music files to the Yamaha MCX-A300 and MCX-P200 Network Music Players wherever they are located throughout the home.

MusicCAST2 is a convenient, flexible, expandable way to stream music wirelessly to every room of the home. Users can connect their PCs to listen to music files, Internet Radio and the Rhapsody music service, with iPod docking, a USB port and Bluetooth compatibility.
