The Netgear MP101 Brings Digital AudioBy Steve Anderson - 09/28/2009 3:31:09 PM |
Just on the off chance that you didn’t read one of my articles detailing how most people don’t use their home theaters for music, or if you’re one of those relative handful that do, you’ll be happy to hear about the Netgear MP101, a home digital audio player that can handily hook into your home theater.
Costs roughly a hundred and sixty dollars US–or two hundred and thirty Australian–and offers a simple, straightforward wireless audio setup. By all reports, it’s easy to use and set up, but the downside is that, despite the fact that this is a digital audio player, it has no digital output capability.
The Netgear MP101 looks like a pretty sweet idea if you don’t happen to have, say, an iPod dock on your home theater gear, but if you do, I can’t imagine the Netgear MP101 ever replacing it.
