Toshiba has announced a new line of LCD TVs in the market as it formally released the Toshiba REGZA SV series. This new line of LCD TVs are the latest in Toshiba product line geared for the UK market which boast of Toshiba’s Resolution+ technology, Active Vision M200HD picture processing and an LED backlight.

The SV Series will be Toshiba’s first ticket as far as TVs that are making use of LED-backlight which are known to deliver improved color performance for quality displayed images on screen. The SV Series also boast of a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio with 10 bit processing. The new range of LED-backlit LCD TVs are available in 46” and 55” sizes.
