SD_PDT12_002 PDT123_200The Japanese still prefer the analog TV sets to the Digital ones. However, innovation knows no barriers. Toshiba’s newest Digital Tuner may be looked as a key step towards an awaited switch of the Japanese taste to Digital TV sets.

Released on January 22nd the Toshiba SD-PDT12W External Digital TV Tuner bears a compact footprint of height 50mm× width 126mm× depth 126mm. The tuner shows backward compatibility by allowing connection to terrestrial analog models.

The Toshiba SD-PDT12W Digital TV Tuner will be available in the Japanese market from February 1st for an estimated price of 15,000 Yen.
