TranSwitch Unveils Latest HD Video Interconnect Technology

During the last CES 2010, TranSwitch quietly unveiled their new line of next generation digital television and home theater applications. Notable was the release of the HD-PXL-1.4 transmitter which includes 3D video support for new 4K super resolution displays.

The new HD-PXL-1.4 transmitter and receiver incorporate all of the features in the HDMI 1.4 specifications. This includes the Audio Return Channel which eliminates the need for separate audio cables between the television set and the Home Theater equipment, HDCP version 1.4 and a full range of expanded color spaces.
