Twitter, Facebook and more comes to Verizon’s FiOS TV

If you are a subscriber to Verzion’s FiOS TV service this applies to you — The service provider has recently announced that they are launching its Widget Bazaar for the service. If you are familiar with Apple’s App Store for their iPhone and iPod touch this should be familiar to you as it will let you download an array of applications for use on your television.
The first round of applications includes Twitter, Facebook and ESPN Fantasy Football. According to Verizon you won’t be able to post status updates to Twitter as it currently only supports viewing tweets. However, you will be able to update your Facebook status along with ESPN Fantasy Footbal personal information.
Furthermore, this update also brings the ability to to stream videos from a conencted PC to Home Media DVR subscribers.
