Virgin Media’s version of delivering HD TV comes in the form of the V HD Box which subscribers can hook up with for £49. However, customers will have to sign up for a Virgin Media subscription to avail of the service. For existing subscribers, upgrading their current packs to the M+ T service will be the only thing needed.

A selection of new HD channels will be available on this service later in the year, these will be: ITV 1 HD, Eurosport HD, Sci Fi HD, Discovery HD, Film 4 HD and E4 HD. Interested people who want to avail (or upgrade) of the service just have to sign up at the Virgin Media website.
