Last month Vivitek told us that they were planning on bringing a $999 1080p projector to market, something the world has yet to see. Well today the company will officially make the H1080FD projector available for purchase later this month.
For under $1,000 you will get a 1080p projector complete with DLP technology, 1800 lumens, a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, 29dB rating, a RS-232 control pot and 3,000 hours of lamp life.
