VIZIO, one of the fastest growing brand of flat HDTVs in North America, has introduced a new line of products called the XVT Series. Designed with advanced features to offer an extended performance at breakthrough prices, the new VIZIO VP505XVT Full 1080p Plasma with Silicon Optix HQV is truly an innovation.

“Full 1080p resolution has certainly come of age, especially as lower cost, next generation HD disc players and games make their way into the warehouse and department store channels,” says Laynie Newsome, vice president sales at VIZIO, Inc.

The VP505XVT features the newest Brandy Wine colored speaker grill and a side access HD Game Port with two HDMI v1.3 inputs for fast connections of game consoles and other portable sources. VIZIO VP505XVT also incorporates SRS Labs’ TruSurround XT audio processing for premium virtual surround.

VIZIO VP505XVT Plasma TV will be available for shipment in July 2008 at an estimated price of $ 1699.99. This new product will be available for purchase through consumer electronics retailers like Circuit City and Sears and Club retailers like Costco and Sam’s Club.
