Want the Samsung BD-UP5000 Firmware update? You got it.

We mentioned about a week ago how the Samsung BD-UP5000 Blu-ray player had a certain problem that kept it from playing certain things like Avatar.

Oh, I’ll bet that one hurt if you tried to play it last week! However, the fix is here, and you can get firmware update version 1.5 here.

Keep in mind, this version offers “playback compatibility in some movies”, which means it won’t play some flicks. However, I heard it can do Avatar.
