TiVo is finally out with the much-awaited jobbies for viewing YouTube Videos using its Internet-Connected DVRs. Announced way back in March, TiVo is rolling out a system enabling you to watch YouTube videos along with a plethora of movies, songs, Tv shows that are otherwise unavailable on Cable and Satellite.

TiVo’s partnership with YouTube has marked its first venture into direct streaming of online video. With TiVo’s Series3 and TiVo HD DVRs, users can watch YouTube videos direct on their TV sets. Moreover, they can search the YouTube’s video library, log into their YouTube accounts and can customize their playlists and video channels. However the only drawback is its inability to store YouTube clips on their TiVo sets.
