Watch YouTube on your TV with YouTube XLBy Jeff Baker - 06/03/2009 2:11:37 PM |

Studios like Sony Pictures and MGM have been saying they will begin offering full length movies on YouTube for some time now so it’s standard protocol that YouTube would release a version made for TV viewing. And, that’s just what they did, 6 months ago.
However, the beta they announced 6 months ago has been finalized and renamed YouTube XL.
This service is made specifically for viewing on video game consoles like the Wii and Playstation 3 who both sport a built in web browser. However, as TVs and players advance who is to say manufacturers won’t bundle a web browser in with them, too?
You can check out this exciting new service at www.youtube.com/xl.
