You could be watching 3D Blu-ray by next summer

Just picture a time when you are sitting in front of your Blu-ray player, watching 3D videos. That time may not be so far away. In fact, it could be as early as summer 2010.

According to my source, NVIDIA’s UK PR manager Ben Berraondo has “confirmed that the Blu-ray Association has finally settled on the details of 3D Blu-ray. NVIDIA’s 3D Vision Technology will be able to display the newly agreed on standard.” Of course, you might have to change your refresh rate from 60Hz to 120Hz.

We’ll see what the future will bring come next year.
